Treck, Inc. has partnered with Freescale to deliver the premiere TCP/IP solution for the ColdFire platform. Providing support for both IPv4 and IPv6, Treck’s Internet protocols offer the highest performance and best RFC conformance available on the ColdFire.

Treck currently provides drivers for any ColdFire utilizing the Fast Ethernet Controller (FEC); drivers for different Ethernet parts are easy to add.

Drivers also currently exist for encryption offloading on the MCF5235. This allows Treck’s security protocols, such as SSL and IPSEC, to leverage the cryptographic capabilities of the MCF5235 and other ColdFires using similar hardware.
